On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Andy Childs

Nottingham-based video production and photography company Page One Media has recruited experienced drone pilot and filmmaker Andy Childs to its team.

Creative director Doug Marke said: “Andy has spent several years producing great content with his own Chesterfield aerial filmmaking company. Adding his experience and skills to Page One allows us to realise our vision of making aerial services seamless within the video production environment.”

“We have wanted to bring aerial video into our Agile production system for a number of years, but the regulated nature of U.K. drone operations has been a barrier to doing so.

“With our principle photographers now being licensed drone pilots, as well as support from the entire team, we believe we now have an unmatched ability to use drones on every project on a spontaneous basis, at no additional cost.”

“Bringing in Andy has been the final step to let us take the drama out of drone work.”
