On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Beeston construction firm Stepnell has made three senior appointments.

Gemma Meekings joins the firm J Tomlinson where she was marketing manager, while Darren Wallace has been appointed senior design manager with responsibility for Stepnell’s design-and-build projects across the East Midlands working from the Beeston office.Rob Dyson also joins Stepnell in the East Midlands as project manager from Kent-based building contractors R Durtnell and Sons where he held a similar role.

Tom Sewell, Stepnell’s regional director, says: “I am delighted to welcome Gemma, Darren and Rob who bring a wealth of experience, specialist skills and expertise to the business. I am confident that they will add substantial value to our East Midlands operations and play an important role in helping us drive long-term growth by delighting our customers and being a great and inspiring company to work for.”

Fidler & Pepper Lawyers, which has offices in Mansfield and Sutton in Ashfield, has appointed two new board members.

Joanne Godson and Wendy Walker have been made directors of the firm.

CEO Mark Slade said: “We’ve worked hard as a whole team to position Fidler & Pepper so that it moves forward being a great place to work, with the right people in the right places.

“Both Joanne and Wendy have been key to the day-to-day running of the business, and also in the development of our strategic plans that are laying the foundations for a very strong future.
