A606 closed after lorry collides with bridge
One of the main arterial roads into Nottingham city centre is closed, according to reports.
BBC Radio Nottingham says that the A606 Melton Road in Tollerton has been closed in both directions after a lorry hit the railway bridge.
Early morning commuters are advised to keep tabs on the situation as Police have closed the road between the A52 Wheatcroft Island and Lenton Avenue.
