New chief executive at Rothera Sharp

Rothera Sharp Solicitors has named Christina Yardley, previously the firm’s business development partner, as its new chief executive.

Yardley, who joined the firm in 2017, will work alongside Ann-Marie Bowman, formerly Rothera Sharp’s managing partner who will step into the role of chairwoman. Joining them on the Board is Richard Hammond who will take on the new role of chief innovations and risk officer.

Bowman led the firm through its 2016 merger with Sharp, Young and Pearce.

Yardley said: “This is an exciting time for the firm and I’m really looking forward to working with the excellent team at Rothera Sharp to drive forward our vision of a people-focused firm that operates collaboratively and ethically within the wider community in order to give our clients a service that exceeds their expectations.”

Bowman said: “We want to build on our strong history and prominence in Nottingham and see our new structure as an important step in galvanising our plans.

“We are delighted that Christina will be leading the firm in her new role as CEO and have no doubt that Christina’s progressive and commercial approach together with the firms new structure will have a considerable impact on the service we provide to clients.”
