On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

James Bromley

High Peak CVS (Community and Voluntary Support) has announced that James Bromley has taken over as chief executive.

High Peak CVS is a charitable company which aims to promote community and voluntary sustainability in the High Peak area.

Bromley comes with an extensive charitable background and starts immediately with the task of developing the High Peak CVS’ main objectives of supporting voluntary and community organisations across the district.

He said: “I am really proud to join the dedicated team at High Peak CVS who are committed to supporting voluntary and community organisations and help make a real difference in the local area.

“We currently have a fantastic membership base of almost 400 community groups that we work with and we hope to expand that and support every group across the High Peak. We are also looking to work with local businesses, through their CSR objectives, to make a real impact to some of the most disadvantaged areas in Derbyshire. To do this we will be looking to consult with the local community on their thoughts on what is needed from their CVS and how we can best use our knowledge, expertise and links for the maximum impact.”

Dionne Redpath and Matthew Camm

Nottingham-based Europa Road, a division of logistics firm Europa Worldwide, has hired Matthew Camm as UK network development manager.

He brings 17 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industries, with expertise in supply chain industries, with expertise in international and domestic operations, and customer and partner management.

Camm will manage Europa’s network of UK partner organisations, the local transport companies Europa works with to deliver its services.

He said: “As the domestic market sees more and more companies make changes, the need for a specific focus on domestic relationships is key moving forward. As 100 per cent of my time will be focused on this, I expect that over time I will develop unique relationships which give us an edge over our competitors. I have a lot of varied experience in the industry which will provide me with a good foundation to develop my role and Europa’s network of partners.”

Dionne Redpath, branch network and sales director at Europa, said: “We are delighted to welcome Matthew to the team and know his wealth of experience and knowledge will be of huge benefit to us, strengthening our team further. The continued investment in our services, facilities and staff shows our drive to gain further market share.”
