Two new partners at accountancy firm

Sheetal Sanghvi

RSM has announced two promotions to partner in the East Midlands.

Leicester-based Sheetal Sanghvi and Nottingham-based Mike Plant both become partners in the firm’s tax faculty from 1 April 2020.

Sheetal Sanghvi first joined RSM’s predecessor firm as an audit trainee after graduating from De Montfort University Leicester with a degree in Business Studies.

Since achieving her ACA chartered accountant status in 2008, she has worked her way up the ranks, gaining a broad experience across both the audit and corporate tax faculties. In 2017, she chose to fully specialise in Research and Development tax, becoming a director in 2018.

Mike Plant

Nottingham-based Mike Plant joined RSM from a Big Four firm in August 2016, taking on the role of corporate tax director. He focuses largely on advising mid-market companies, international businesses and private equity-backed firms, and enjoys serving clients across the East Midlands.

Mark Taylor, regional managing partner for RSM in the Midlands said: “Sheetal and Mike have had different career paths, but both have received support and encouragement from RSM to help them reach their potential and I’m absolutely delighted to welcome them to the partnership.

“At what is a very difficult time for businesses across the region, I’m confident that they will play a very significant role in supporting RSM’s clients through the ongoing crisis and beyond.”
