On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Leicester law firm Dodds Solicitors has hired Claire Brown, an experienced Wills and Probate solicitor to head up the department.
Brown completed her law degree at The University of Leicester and then went on to train at a national practice and qualified as a solicitor in May 2015.
She is experienced in and can assist in both simple and complex Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyship and other Court of Protection Applications, Inheritance Tax and Trust advice and dealing with estates after death including obtaining the Grant of Probate and also handling intestate estates where no Will has been made.

Every client is important and Claire prides herself on building solid relationships with her clients through providing a professional yet friendly and understanding legal service.”
Nottingham-based digital PR agency, Motive, has appointed Alex Jones as PR director.
Jones, who has seven years’ PR and marketing experience, joins the agency from Nottingham based digital marketing company Hallam, where he was head of PR.
Jones said: “Motive has a track record of delivering superb consumer-facing PR campaigns.
“With a great client roster, a new office, and a recent rebrand, I feel like Motive is somewhere I can add value, and develop my skills further.
“As COVID-19 dominates headlines, now more than ever a solid PR and brand strategy is needed for businesses. Important and meaningful relationships can be maintained and built during a crisis.”
