Starbucks gets green light for new drive-thru on busy Nottingham road

Some 32 jobs are set to be created in Nottingham after plans for a new Starbucks drive-thru on one of the busiest roads into Nottingham city centre were given the green light.
The new restaurant and takeaway will be built on vacant land on Queens Drive on the outskirts of the city centre, next to a Dunelm superstore.
The building has been designed by Leicester-based Stephen George + Partners.
A statement from the architect said: “A full account of the planning background has been undertaken, the proposed development is consistent with the local Council’s objectives.
“The development therefore provides a high quality designed scheme, which will provide an important economic investment to area.”
