Developer gets go-ahead for 60-acre extension to business park

Jobs are to be created after planning permission for a further 60-acre development at Clowes Develoments’ Dove Valley Park in Derbyshire has been granted by the local authority.

Phase one has already welcomed major players to the area including JCB, Kuehne + Nagel, Müller, Futaba Industrial and Truma.

Clowes Developments have been working with energy supplier, Western Power Distribution and investing in excess of £3m to deliver a new Electricity Primary Substation to provide an additional 9MVA+ of energy. Parties are working towards the ‘High Power Live’ date scheduled for March 2022
