On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Burton-based Russell Roof Tiles has promoted Jamie Wilds to commercial services co-ordinator, based at its Wetmore Lane site.
Wilds’ new role will be working closely with commercial services director Paul McLoughlin – who has over 30 years’ experience.
She said: “Not long after I finished my A-Levels, I came across Russell Roof Tiles at a local job fair and 15 years later I’m delighted to still be here. Russell Roof Tiles has always been a company that promotes from within and provides excellent training initiatives.
“I have experienced first-hand the company’s commitment to in-house progression. The team spirit and support I have received over the years is second to none, and the training has provided me with the skills be successful in the role.”
Pall-Ex (UK) has promoted a new operations director.
Paul Pegg has taken up the role at Pall-Ex’s central hub, having originally joined the logistics firm in 2018 as transport manager before being promoted to UK head of operations.
He brings 27 years of experience and industry knowledge to the role after starting his career as an HGV Class 1 driver with Holland & Barrett, prior to progressing through his management career to taking up key roles with DHL and TNT.
Pegg said: “It has been a critical time for our industry as we have played a key role in keeping the supply chain moving. I am very proud to be playing my part and leading the hugely dedicated operations team at Pall-Ex.”
