Windows and doors firm to create 70 jobs

Windows and doors firm Safestyle UK is set to create 70 jobs in Nottingham with the opening of a new depot at Glaisdale Parkway in mid-December.

Once fully staffed, the 16,000 sq ft secure yard in Nottingham will provide extra capacity for the firm to fit 500-600 windows and doors per week.

This is the third new depot that has been opened this year by national windows and doors specialist Safestyle, with the other two being in Barnsley and Bury St Edmunds. Recruitment is now underway to fill the new positions in Nottingham, with available roles including managers, installers, drivers, administrators and recyclers.

Steve Caves, national operations manager at Safestyle, says, “Nottingham is a great location for the new Safestyle depot and was chosen specifically because of its central location and excellent transport links.

“This has been a challenging year for the whole country so we’re particularly pleased to be opening our Nottingham depot just before Christmas and creating around 70 new jobs in the local economy.”
