Vegan store expands in Nottingham following property deal

A vegan convenience store in Nottingham is expanding following a deal brokered by NG Chartered Surveyors.
The V Spot has opened at 515 Mansfield Road in Sherwood in a deal sealed by NG’s Ellis Cullen on behalf of a private landlord.
The new premises will see The V Spot double the size of its store to almost 1,500 sq ft of retail space.
Adrian Bhagat, owner of The V Spot, said: “We’re delighted with our new premises. The new shop has room for a much wider range of vegan and eco-friendly products including a much bigger chilled and frozen section, a bigger chilled cabinet for cakes and sausage rolls. We’ve also now got a proper area to display the shoes and cosmetics, a bigger kitchen and store room so our staff aren’t constantly tripping over each other!”
Cullen added: “It’s been well-documented that the retail sector is struggling, but this deal shows both the popularity of veganism and the tenants’ confidence in taking a new 10 year lease in the current climate.
“We wish Adrian and his team all the best in their new home.”
