Plans backed to turn former recording studio into flats

Plans to turn a former recording studio in Nottingham city centre into apartments could be given the green light next week.
Planning bosses at Nottingham City Council have recommended that the scheme be approved when its planning committee sits next Tuesday (May 25).
Hockley Developments lodged plans with the city council in April to turn the St Andrews Hall building on Alfred Street North into 16 flats. The site is currently vacant, but was previously used by a charity.
Plans show the development will consist of eight 1-bed duplex units and eight 1-bed single storey units.
