Leicester estate agency Fothergill Wyatt has announced the sale of the sales arm of their business to Hortons, in a move that it says will help it focus on growing its lettings and asset management services.

Nicol Nightingale, managing director of Fothergill Wyatt, said: “We are pleased to announce the sale of our sales division to Hortons, another independent agency that shares our core values for putting customers first and delivering high quality service. This strategic move will allow us to strengthen our focus on building our asset management portfolio and residential lettings department, and then also ensuring, through a collaborative ongoing working relationship, that we can confidently refer sales clients to Hortons, knowing they’ll be in safe hands.”

Hortons, a fast growing estate agency founded in Leicester, now operates across five counties and is one of the largest independent estate agencies in the region.
