Development site alongside new Gedling access road for sale

Shortly after the new opening of Gedling’s new access road, Colliery Way, an opportunity has risen as roadside land has become available for sale by Innes England.

Situated off of Colliery Way, the 13.4 acre site sits directly opposite a new housing development, where over 1,000 new homes are under construction and adjacent to the be-loved 580-acre Gedling country park.

Redevelopment of the plot will utilise a brownfield site that has been left for over three decades, last being utilised in 1991.

The land has exceptional transportation and trade connections to the neighbouring regions and central Nottingham, due to the recently completed £49 million Gedling access road opened last year.

It is also estimated that more than 2.75 million consumers are less than 45 minutes away by car.

Director at Innes England, Scott Osbourne said: “Outline planning permission for a variety of uses has been gained already, including roadside retail, drive-thru food as well as sit down pubs and restaurants, leisure and gymnasium facilities, industrial and employment operations and logistics and distribution centres. These permissions give the site a very wide scope of potential and make it an ideal investment.”
