Senior hire at convenience foods manufacturer

Catherine Gubbins

Greencore Group, a Worksop manufacturer of convenience foods, has appointed Catherine Gubbins as chief financial officer and executive director.

She is expected to join Greencore and take up her role in early 2024. Jonathan Solesbury, who joined Greencore as interim chief financial officer in June 2023, will continue in his role into early 2024.

Gubbins joins Greencore from daa, the global airports and travel retail group, having worked there for nine years in various finance roles including as director of finance and since March 2021, as group CFO. Before moving to daa, she spent 16 years as a senior manager in assurance and business advisory with PwC Ireland.

She brings a wealth of experience that will be of significant benefit to the Group.”
