Market Harborough gears up for 450,000 sq ft business park

A new scheme called Wellington Business Park is set to be developed in the northwest of Market Harborough.

Planning permission is set to be approved by the Harborough District Council after the recent completion of the Section 106 agreement.

Commercial property agent Prop-search has been appointed as the sole agent for promoting the new business park.

The 25-acre park will feature around 450,000 sq ft of industrial, warehouse and office spaces, along with a drive-thru coffee shop and is expected to generate more than a thousand new jobs.

The available industrial/warehouse spaces will range from 10,000 to 100,000 sq ft and office buildings will start from 5,000 sq ft, offering both freehold and leasehold options.

Director at Prop-Search, Richard Baker, said: “Demand across the Midlands is not easing up as occupiers compete for the limited space available within the ‘Golden Triangle’. We have received a significant amount of interest in the site for a variety of uses and I am delighted to be able to properly engage with interested parties now that Section 106 has been signed and planning consent granted.

“Wellington Business Park undoubtedly represents an exciting opportunity to meet this occupier demand, creating business opportunities and bringing inward investment into the town. We look forward to engaging with local, regional and national businesses seeking new premises within Market Harborough and this Golden Triangle location.”
