Housing provider welcomes new managing director to North-East Midlands

Lee Parry

Housing providers County Partnerships have welcomed Lee Parry, who joins as managing director for the North-East Midlands.

Parry joins Countryside Partnerships from Keepmoat Homes where he worked as construction operations director, before becoming interim managing director.

In his new role, Parry wants to continue to deliver mixed-tenure housing developments with a focus on quality, community and sustainability.

The North-East Midlands have ambitious site acquisition targets for 2024, hoping to secure at least six new sites that will be located in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire.

The team aims to continue successful projects in the area, such as Fletton Folly in Peterborough, Garvey Glade in Nottingham, Alvaredus at Fairham, St Lawrence Fold in Clay Cross, The Boulevard in Newark, The Colleys in Grantham, Hall Park in Worksop, and Swan Grange at Witham St Hughs.

They’re also working on growing the collection of affordable housing, with ongoing projects in Coalville, Buxton, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Sutton in Ashfield, and Belper.

Adam Daniels, divisional managing director at Countryside Partnerships Midlands, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lee Parry to head up our North-East Midlands team. He brings a wealth of experience and a clear vision to tackle the region’s need for high-quality homes across a range of tenures. I look forward to working with him to further develop our partnership-building division across the North East Midlands.”

Parry said: “I’m extremely proud to be taking the reins for North-East Midlands. It’s a privilege to be working with such a great team and I look forward to continuing to grow the business. My focus is firmly on addressing the region’s chronic shortage of affordable mixed-tenure housing.”
