Slam dunk for recruitment firm as it celebrates record year with basketball deal

A Nottingham recruitment firm which specialises in the accountancy, finance and HR markets, is set to post a second record year in succession, a senior member of its team has told TheBusinessDesk.com.

Greg Emmerson, director at Blusource Recruitment, said that the firm has also boosted staff numbers by 40% over the last 18 months – and that the company has already smashed through 2022 best-ever figures.

On the back of this, Blusource has agreed a deal to sponsor professional basketball club, the Nottingham Hoods, who have a men’s team competing in Division 1 of the National Basketball League. The sponsorship has helped provide kits for the Hoods under 12s team and kit supplies for the men’s team and coaching staff.

Emmerson said: “Basketball in the UK has been given a real boost in recent years, with major financial backing coming into the top level of the game from an American consortium and our elite teams performing in European competition. Our sponsorship hopefully makes it easier for children and their families to access the game locally and get valuable experience playing competitive basketball from a young age.

“Hoods offer a range of sponsorship packages for interested companies and welcome expressions of interest, as they aim to develop their top-level performance and club at all levels.”
