Law firm makes nearly 100 promotions and a record year of growth

National law firm Freeths has announced nearly 100 promotions across its UK offices.

A total of 95 employees have been promoted within the firm’s 13 offices, including four new partners and 73 lawyer promotions.

Over 50% of the promotions are women.

The firm is based in Nottingham with other offices in the Midlands in Leicester, Derby and Birmingham.

Senior promotions include 13 legal directors and four new partners, including Sarah Rowe in the real estate Team, Ben Derrington in the environmental and planning team, Henry Clappinson in the restructuring and insolvency team, and Mark Heppinstall in the family practice.

The firm has achieved another year of double-digit growth and made several lateral hires in the past 12 months.

Recent additions include clean energy partner Deborah Harvey from Osborne Clarke, patents director Richard Ellis from Murgitroyd, tax partner Stephen Jones from DLA Piper, and corporate partner Martin Smith and insolvency partner Su Garner from Knights Plc.
