Caravan retailer alerts administrators

A Leicestershire caravan retailer is facing an uncertain future, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.

Ryedale Caravan & Leisure, which is based in Shepshed, has posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators via accountancy firm PKF Smith Cooper.

The move will protect Ryedale from creditor action for a period of around ten days.

In its latest available accounts, made up to the end of April 2023, Ryedale employed 15 people and had assets of over £2m. Barclays hold a charge over the company.

Ryedale holds stock by the likes of Bailey, Sterling and Swift and also sells awnings and porhces. The firm claims to have one of the largest caravan repair and maintenance workshop departments in the Midlands.
