A family-owned supplier of curtains to retailers and the hospitality trade is facing an uncertain future, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
Home Curtains (UK), based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, has posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators (NOI) via law firm Smith Partnership. The move will protect the Nottinghamshire firm against creditor action for around 10 days.
Home Curtains (UK) was established over almost 40 years ago. The firm makes all of its products at its in-house production department.
In its latest accounts, made up to February 29 2024, the firm had net assets of over £2.3m. At the time, Home Curtains (UK) employed 33 people.
The company has been contacted for comment.
