Compleat Food Group gobbles up sauces and soups business
Greencore has sold its Bristol chilled soups and sauces business as part of the regulatory process for its planned takeover of Bakkavor.
The sale, agreed with Nottingham-based The Compleat Food Group, is subject to final approval from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and is expected to be completed in early 2026.
The Bristol site, which generated around £47m in revenue in the year to 26 September 2025, will strengthen The Compleat Food Group’s portfolio of chilled food brands.
