Bailgate Busking Festival
Date: 11am – 4:30pm Saturday 9th July
Location: Cathedral Quarter, Lincoln
The Lincoln Castle walls and cobbled streets of Bailgate are set to sing with music from over 40 acts this Saturday. Enjoy the sights and sounds as a range of buskers create an acoustic ambience in Lincoln’s historic Cathedral Quarter.
Summer Beer Festival
Date: Wednesday 6th – Sunday 10th July
Location: Market Place, Derby
The 39th Derby CAMRA City Charter Summer Beer Festival is all set to be hosted in the in a marquee situated in central Derby. This year the festival will be supporting several charities including, Air Ambulance, Royal British Legion and Derby Mountain Rescue.
Formula One Grand Prix
Date: Friday 8th – Sunday 10th July
Location: Silverstone Circuit, Northampton
This year’s F1 Grand Prix is set to be an exciting weekend of racing, entertainment and good food. Scouting for Girls and The Feeling are among the many acts performing over the three evenings.
Race for Life
Date: 11am Sunday 10th July
Location: Victoria Park, Leicester
Join Cancer Research for their Race for Life in Leicester this weekend as thousands take part in a 5k race for charity. Whether you want to run, walk or hop around the race, entrants of all ages are welcome. Participants will be able to enjoy picturesque views and a flat route.
Street Art Festival
Date: 6pm Friday 8th – Saturday 30th July
Location: Surface Gallery
The Gallery will be celebrating the launch of the festival with a party on Friday night including a DJ set, breakdancing and live painting. The hugely popular exhibition will officially be open to enjoy this Saturday until the end of July, promoting Nottingham’s vibrant alternative art scene and showcasing some of the best local talent.
