Furniture showroom targets early expansion

A supplier of furniture to the office and educational sectors has opened its first showroom in Ilkeston.

Behind the new business venture, called Furniture Cloud are business partners, Simon Stirland and John Paterson of Stirland Paterson along with Carl Swift, who has joined the pair after 20 years within the furniture industry. Swift will be responsible for the day to day running of Furniture Cloud.

He said: “We are committed to serving our local business and educational community by offering a value for money furniture environments from office space to class based learning. We pride ourselves on our honest approach by listening and understanding our customer’s expectations and offer an open invitation to our new showroom to enable them to see the added value.”

He added: “Over the next few months we will be looking to strengthen our sales and design team and as the business continues to grow, we will hope to invest in further showrooms in the East Midlands.”
