Pendlebury Care Homes has opened its third care home in the group, Regency Hall, in Hadfield, Derbyshire after securing a six-figure funding package from Royal Bank of Scotland.

Since 2000, Pendlebury Care Homes has operated Lyme Green Hall in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and Pendlebury Court in Glossop, making Regency Hall the second home to open in the High Peak.

The group employs 127 members of staff across all three homes, with 60 new jobs created at Regency Hall.

Christopher Morse, managing director of Pendlebury Care Homes, said: “The home was closed down two years ago and we are proud to bring this beautiful period building back to life with outstanding facilities and high standards of care.”

Adrian Taylor, healthcare manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “We are helping a number of care home operators grow through acquisition and Pendlebury Care Homes is testament to how our sector knowledge and investment is adding real value. I wish the team at Regency Hall all the very best of luck as they welcome their new residents.”
