Appointments: Moves at Scott Rees, The If Agency and Aaron & Partners

SCOTT Rees & Co Solicitors has awarded eight new solicitor training contracts. The Skelmersdale firm, which specialises in personal injury and accident management claims, has awarded training contracts to eight members of staff already working within the firm as paralegals.

These include: Paul Harrison, Ryan Siner, Michael Wan, Hayley Walker, Nicola Pile, Gemma Sherry, Anamika Das and Mo Khan.

Managing Partner Royston Smith said: “I wish our new trainees every success for a rewarding and fulfilling career in the law. It is a clear indication of Scott Rees’ significant growth in the last six months.”

MANCHESTER marketing firm The If Agency has made two appointments to its account management and design departments. Mike Dean joins the firm as its latest creative artworker whilst Joe Mitchell becomes an account executive.
 
Dean has worked in the marketing and advertising industries for 13 years and has held positions at Manchester Free and Martini Communications.

For Mitchell it is his first full time role in the creative industry job since leaving university in 2009.

Both will be working with new clients such as Beaverbrooks and Sale Sharks as with some longer standing clients such as HSBC, Matalan and William Hill.

CHESTER law firm Aaron & Partners has welcomed new appointments as it Andrew Dunning, Jane Hilyer and Lois Wiegand of Aaron & Partnerscontinues to grow.

The firm, which also has an office in Manchester, has appointed Jane Hilyer as associate employment solicitor and Andrew Dunning, who has taken up a permanent position after completing his training contract with the firm. Hilyer previously spent three years at Hillyer McKeown in Chester.

Meanwhile, Lois Wiegand has joined as an assistant in the corporate commercial practice, having left Mace & Jones in Liverpool, where she trained and then qualified in 2004.
