PAG gets Deal of Year at property awards

PROPERTY Alliance Group walked away with the Deal of the Year at last night’s Insider Property Awards.

The Trafford Park based group, chaired by David Russell, won the award for its pre-letting last July of the £15m Trafford Park Bakery site to MAN Truck & Bus UK for a new vehicle maintenance and repair workshop.

The international manufacturer of trucks and buses took a 22-year lease on the site, for its largest national workshop.
Meanwhile, Carrillion got the Construction Firm of the Year gong and MEPC Birchwood Park won Commercial Developer of the Year at the awards, which were held at Manchester Central.

Liverpool Vision won the Public Sector Team award for the third year in a row while Peter Emerson Jones, chairman of the Emmerson Group, which owns Orbit Developments, was named Property Personality of the Year.
