Blackhurst Budd grows through merger

BLACKPOOL law firm Coope Purvis and Taylor is to merge with its Fylde Coast rival Blackhurst Budd LLP.

Partners Charles Purvis and John Taylor at Coope Purvis and Taylor will take up senior roles at Blackhurst Budd, with John Taylor becoming marketing partner as well as continuing to deal with residential conveyancing. 

Once the merger is complete, expected t be sometime in August, Blackhurst Budd will have 13 partners and 64 staff.

Coope, Purvis and Taylor specialises in commercial and residential conveyancing, and so will strengthen the conveyancing department at Blackhurst Budd, the firms said.
