CUMBRIAN candle manufacturer, Colony Gift Corporation, has hired Manchester marketing and PR agency MC2 to implement a media relations campaign and design and produce new brochures for its Colony Homescents and Wax Lyrical ranges.

The business, which employs 150 people at its site in Lindal in Furness near Ulverston, decided to appoint a full service agency in order to build awareness of the brands.

RUSSELLS Construction has been awarded the Investors in People Award and joins an exclusive club of just 2,000 contractors to have the honour.

To meet the standards set by IIP, Trafford-based Russells Construction had to demonstrate a successful programme of planning and achieving development strategies to improve the performance of the business, through good practice in human resources and leadership.
