Lettings latest: PAG attracts rink operator to Cleveleys; Polti moves to Trafford Park

PROPERTY Alliance Group has let the last unit at its leisure scheme, Jubilee Leisure Park, in Cleveleys town centre, to ice srink operator Sub Zero Leisure.
Sub Zero, which is also behind the venue used for the Dancing On Ice TV programme, plans to open its first permanent ice rink training and entertainment facility at the site on Celveleys promenade. It will join existing operators Vue Cinema and Pizza Hut.
Sub Zero has agreed a ten-year lease on a 14,000 sq ft unit, which will also be home to a new Lancashire ice hockey team. Russells Construction has installed a mezzanine floor for the stadium seating.
Jonathan Mather, director of Property Alliance Group said: “In choosing Jubilee Leisure Park for its fantastic new facility, Sub Zero has demonstrated the demand for a family attraction in Cleveleys town centre.
“Vue Cinemas, already receives 300,000 visitors a year and together with family-favourite restaurant, Pizza Hut, the park will be a thriving destination.
“The investment in Cleveleys Promenade opposite our scheme can only ensure that Jubilee Leisure Park will be a great success for our new tenant.”

DTZ Investment Management has let space at Unit G3, Wheel Forge Way in Trafford Park, Manchester to Polti UK Ltd.
Polti manufactures small electrical steam appliances and has agreed a new five-year lease on the unit, which totals 8,163 sq ft. Polti UK will pay an annual rent of £53,060.
