PR consultancy Paver Smith has announced a series of contract wins, including Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

The agency has been awarded a three month contract to communicate the benefits of connecting in to KLM’s global route network via Schipol.

The airline flies three times a day from Liverpool to Amsterdam and has seen strong take-up of connectivity to long haul destinations such as Shanghai, Cape Town and Sydney.

The agency has also been appointed on retainers by management consultancy Cheeky Monkey and Belle Vue greyhound stadium in Manchester.

COMMUNIQUE PR has been appointed by Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) to undertake a public relations campaign in the UK, India and Malaysia in partnership with Burson-Marsteller in London, Delhi and Singapore.

Communique PR’s work with LUMS is set to commence at the beginning of August 2009.

Rick Crawley, director of external relations and communications at LUMS, said: “We chose Communique and Burson-Marsteller because they focussed their strategy beyond the educational media and can support our international ambitions.”

PUBLIC relations group Bell Pottinger North has won a contract with the Health & Safety Laboratory (HSL).

HSL was originally set up as a division of the UK’s Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and became established as an in-house agency in 1995.

In addition to assisting HSE in delivering the government’s national health and safety agenda, HSL provides research and testing services to independent private and public sector clients.

Bill Nixon, HSL business development director, said: “Bell Pottinger North met all the requirements of our tender and we are looking forward to working with the team over the coming months in developing our communications strategy.”
