In brief: HSS Supercentre opens in St Helens; Addleshaw launches consultancy;

TOOL and equipment hire company, HSS has opened a new branch in St Helens, Merseyside.

The supercentre, located in St Helen’s retail park, is the 12th branch to be opened by HSS in recent months with new supercentres now open in Camberley, Liverpool and Leeds.

Chris Davies, chief executive at HSS Hire, said: “The new St Helen’s store will help us to deliver an improved scale and scope of service for customers across the North West region. It also offers more floor space, allowing for an extended product range, as well as increased parking in a better location.”

ADDLESHAW Goddard, which has an office in Leeds, has announced the launch of a professional practices consultancy.

The consultancy will provide a range of strategic analysis and advice to clients.

Potential clients include accountants, actuaries, hedge funds, asset managers, law firms, patent and trade mark attorneys, architects and designers, engineering consultancies, quantity surveyors, chartered surveyors, cost consultancies and project managers.
