Building Blocks on the move

WEB technology firm Building Blocks is on the move in Manchester.

The consultancy, which develops technology solutions for organisations such as Butlins, RSPB and British Dental Association, has outgrown its previous serviced office space and will move into ‘The Gallery’ at 61 Oxford Street after the building has been refurbished.

Surveyors and property advisers Edwards & Co acquired the 3,902 sq ft self-contained suite at the Bruntwood-owned former cotton mill

Building Blocks’ office, which has its own frontage on Portland Street, is undergoing a bespoke fit out, including a mezzanine floor, atrium-style glass ceiling and a ‘chill out’ area.

Jonathan Whiteside, director at Building Blocks, comments, “61 Oxford Street was strikingly different to everything else we looked at, whilst fitting our needs exactly.

“We’re excited about our imminent move and look forward to filling the space as the company continues to grow this year.”
