Bank, Starplan and Wren move into Middlebrook
BEDROOM furniture specialists Starplan, Kitchen design company, Wren and fashion retailer Bank have all taken space at Middlebrook Retail Park in Bolton.

BEDROOM furniture specialists Starplan, Kitchen design company, Wren and fashion retailer Bank have all taken space at Middlebrook Retail Park in Bolton. 

Part of JD Sports Fashion, Bank has taken a 6,242 sq ft retail unit, which will be Bank’s second store in Bolton when it opens on December 5.

Rachel Blackburn, regional estates surveyor at JD Sports Fashion, said:  “Middlebrook presents us with a great retail park location for us to trial our out of town fascia for Bank.”

Starplan has taken a 10 year lease of 10,289 sq ft. The family run business designs bespoke furniture and the store is due to be open in time for Christmas.

Wren, which previously only supplied high-spec kitchens online, is expanding into bricks and mortar and the 8,785 sq ft store at Middlebrook will be its second unit.

Mark Hanna, senior retail leasing surveyor at Orbit Developments, said: “We are continuing to see growth in footfall at the Retail Park with over 900,000 customers in October. We are always keen to attract new fascias to the park and I’m delighted that these strong brands have chosen Middlebrook.”

Middlebrook Retail Park comprises a total of 639,085 sq ft of retail space let to a variety of tenants including Marks & Spencer, Boots, Next, Argos, JD Sports and HMV.

Property agents Wilkinson Williams acted on behalf of Bank, while Orbit was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle and Savills.
