Law firms Beachcroft and DAC to merge

NATIONAL law firms Beachcroft and Davies Arnold Cooper are to merge.

From November 1, the enlarged practice will be known as DAC Beachcroft and will have 2,000 staff and turnover of £175m.

Both DAC and Beachcroft have offices in Manchester, on Fountain Street and 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields respectively. Other regional bases include Leeds and Birmingham.

DAC Beachcroft will have around 230 partners  and market-leading expertise in insurance, real estate and healthcare sectors. 

The deal will also boost the firm’s firepower in corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment and dispute resolution.
