Merseyside PI specialist plans multi-million pound expansion

LAW firm Forster Dean Solicitors is embarking on a “multi-million pound” expansion plan.

The personal injury specialist is opening new offices in Rochdale and Stockport in the first quarter of 2010, with plans to open up to 10 more sites across England and Wales in the next two years..

Forster Dean’s head office is in Speke and the £7.2m turnover firm already has a network of 15 other offices across the North West, with 43 fee earners and 90 employees in total.

Gregory Shields, chief executive at Forster Dean, who led a management buyout of the firm in 2007, said: “The forthcoming expansion is part of our ultimate goal which is to create a leading high street law firm with a national presence.

“Our model is based upon providing clients with an excellent service that produces quick results for them at the most competitive price. We will substantially grow the firm during the next few years.”

The firm has been awarded a seven figure funding package from the Royal Bank of Scotland’s business and commercial banking team in Liverpool, to support its expansion plan.
