Contractor lands slot on £60m development framework

Merseyside-based construction company Carroll Build has landed a place four-year development framework to build and refurbish rental properties on behalf of the Blackpool Housing Company, which aims to deliver a £60m housing plan over the next 10 years.

The framework is set to provide Carroll Build – part of parent company The Carroll Group – with the opportunity to potentially work on projects which are estimated up to the value of £500,000.

The contract will start this month and will see the re-modelling and refurbishment of non-residential properties such as hotels and guesthouses.

Blackpool Housing Company will also be commissioning works on existing residential properties which require significant redevelopment.
