A Macclesfield housing association is planning to take on an extra 42 staff.

Peaks & Plains is a profit for purpose housing provider with a turnover of £30m and more than 5,000 homes across Cheshire and the High Peak.

The recruitment drive forms part of the housing provider’s commitment to delivering its five-year plan.

The expansion will see the growth of its team from 180 to 222.

The new roles available include 18 in its customer directorate, 12 in its resources directorate, ten new apprentice positions and two executive roles.

Tim Pinder, chief executive of Peaks & Plains, said: “We are working hard to deliver our five-year plan in a changing and challenging environment, and we know that it’s the talent within our team that will make it happen.

“The creation of 42 new positions will result in the significant expansion of our team and really illustrates our commitment to delivering on the objectives we have set out, with the ultimate purpose of improving lives.”

Tim added: “We’re focused on making sure that we have the most effective leadership in place, coupled with the skills, knowledge and experience to allow the trust to thrive and continue delivering the best service to our customers, while planning ahead for the future.

“Peaks & Plains benefits from a close-knit team, with many long standing employees attracted by its strong social purpose and varied benefits, including flexi-time and flexible working, wellness initiatives and its location just 20 minutes from Manchester city centre, easy access to London and its close-proximity to the Peak District.”
