Tech company adds to stable with acquisition of consulting specialist

Altrincham’s Mykos Technologies has acquired MSC Consulting, based in Wolverhampton.

Mykos is working to develop new technology and ideas and bring them to reality using their team of experts in mobility, AI and medical.

MSC Consulting will support business leadership through research, strategy, project delivery and investment funding in technology led industrial sectors that include aerospace, automotive, rail and medical.

Talking of the deal, Julian Carr, founder of Mykos, said: “This is a fantastic partnership, Mykos needed a delivery arm for all the ground-breaking and advanced technologies that we are developing and MSC’s skill set matches perfectly with our ambitions.”

Michelle Blackman, MD of Mykos, added: “The team at MSC are excited by the opportunities this acquisition brings. The MSC team’s knowledge and skills, which are well known in the industry, will provide that bridge between concept and execution to industrialisation – and we are confident this experience will accelerate Mykos’ growth.”

Founder of MSC Consulting, Michael Collins, has now left the firm to pursue business development and networking opportunities with his new company MSC BUSINESS SERVICES, which will focus on companies developing new technologies in renewable energy, construction and mobility.
