Countryside Homes appoints Milk for JV project with Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Property & Development

Manchester-based design agency Milk has been appointed by leading homebuilder Countryside Homes to handle all of its above and below the line marketing activities for a new joint venture with Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Property & Development Group.

The JV, called Develop Warwickshire, aims to build 2,000 homes across the county and will see projects worth £2.5bn being completed over the next 30 years. The first three sites are slated for development within the next year.  Homes developed by the partnership will be timber-framed and feature solar panels, reflecting the local authority’s desire to create sustainable homes for the region.

Milk won the contract as a result of its longstanding relationship with Countryside Homes which spans over a decade. It currently handles the marketing for Countryside Homes developments in five regions across the UK.

Brookmill Meadows will be the first launch in Warwickshire. For this, Milk named the development, created its logo and handled all creative design and copywriting elements. Moving forward, it will also be responsible for email and digital marketing, floor plan drawings, website updates as well as brochure creation, copy and design. The next two developments will be announced soon, and Milk will be delivering the same service for each of those.

In addition to the individual developments, the Milk team also created the Develop Warwickshire brand and all its supporting collateral, including the logo and website.

In November 2022, Vistry Group took over Countryside Homes. The deal was the latest in a string of mergers and acquisitions by Vistry, which, as the former Bovis Homes, doubled in size when it acquired Galliford Try’s housing arm, Linden Homes, and its regeneration arm, Galliford Try Partnerships in January 2020.

Aimee Johnstone – Client Services Director at Milk – said: “We have worked with Countryside Homes for over 10 years, so it is an honour to be partnering with them on this project. Develop Warwickshire is a fantastic initiative that is set to create a blueprint when it comes to building sustainable developments. We are now focused on delivering commercial value and playing our part in making it a success.”

Laura Young – Marketing Manager at Countryside Homes – added: “We have partnered with Milk for many years so we are confident their collective creativity and strategic thinking will help drive Develop Warwickshire forward and raise awareness of our developments and goals.”
