Renewable energy provider embarks on nationwide franchise roll-out
A Lancashire renewable energy provider is embarking on a national franchise launch with the recruitment of its first two franchisees.
Preston-based Green Shield Group has agreed two partnership deals in North Wales and Glasgow, with 64 further territories being made available.
The first franchise forms an important part of Green Shield Group’s growth plans with 28 further franchises being planned over the next two years.
Green Shield said its conservative expansion plan is fully supported with technical capabilities within design, procurement and installation, with full access to renewable funding.
Managing director, Jonathan Harrison, said: “Launching our first franchise is something we are incredibly proud of.
“We always wanted to expand Green Shield Group nationwide and launch a franchise offering and I am delighted that Rob will be the first person to take this opportunity forward for North Wales.”
Franchise consultant, Charlie Dickson, said: “The franchise is a unique opportunity for anyone with a passion for the environment, renewable technologies and B2B sales experience to build a profitable business. Green Shield Group’s franchise proposition is built on a proven business model, unrivaled project delivery support, an increasingly impressive client base and solid supply chain, a comprehensive product range, together with a strong commercial model that offers an excellent return on investment.
“In addition, the business is committed to developing the franchise partnership, by supporting franchisees with initial training and ongoing support. This combination delivers an exciting proposition for self-motivated individuals looking to join the fast growing energy consultancy sector, whilst reaping the rewards of their hard work and commitment.”
Rob Shields, the North Wales Territory Manager for Green Shield Group, said: “I am looking forwards to supporting fellow businesses in North Wales in not only meeting their net zero targets, but also protecting them against spiraling energy costs. Since launch we have already signed our first contract in Wrexham with a number of exciting projects also in the pipeline.”
Green Shield Group specialises in delivering carbon reduction strategies for businesses across the UK. It operates across a multitude of sectors from manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, leisure, education, and local authorities simplifying the transition to sustainable solutions for clients while providing operational cost reduction.
The group’s energy proposition has a typical return on investment of four years, although all recommendations can also be fully funded via access to their Green Funding.
Since launching three years ago, Green Shield Group has announced impressive growth figures increasing turnover by 395% across the past 12 months and saving 2.5 million tonnes of carbon through solar installations nationwide.
The group, which boasts an impressive client roster, has supported businesses and brands with their solar installations, working with brands such as Dakota Hotels, Sandal BMW, AMRC, Soper BMW, Burnley College, Starbucks, UCLAN and Eric Wright Group, with several upcoming projects in the pipeline.
