LBM calls on PAG for more space

DIRECT marketing firm LBM has taken more space at its Atlantic Point headquarters on Atlantic St in Altrincham.

The firm, which has been based in the building for 15 years, has taken an extra 6,000 sq ft of space, bringing the total amount occupied to 30,000 sq ft.
LBM is an outsourced call centre operator which has been owned by private equity firm ISIS Equity Partners since 2004.

The business also has offices in Manchester, Stockport, London and Belfast.
Khurram Akram, head of business improvement at LBM, said: “Acquiring the additional space at Atlantic Point has enabled us to transform the siteinto a modern, state-of-the-art centre of excellence.

“As LBM’s new flagship contact centre, we have created a larger and improved workspace environment for our clients and staff, signifying our investment into the future of our business.”

Dominic Pozzoni, a director at landlord Property Alliance Group, said: “Alliance has worked in partnership with LBM to facilitate growth within the chosen space.

“LBM continue to enjoy the benefits of the Altrincham location, with Atlantic Point in close proximity to the area’s main arterial routes for staff, as well as local amenities that the area has to offer.

“This made it an appealing choice for growing businesses like LBM, who need room for expansion.”

LBM’s most recent set of accounts for the year to May 31, 2010, show a pre-tax loss of £4.3m on sales of £45.6m.
