Ibis Organics launches tea range

CUMBRIA-based Ibis Organics has launched a Hibiscus tea range.

The company, which already makes hibiscus drink Simply Hibi, has now developed Simply Hibi Tea. Organically grown in Uganda, the vibrant red tea is made from hibiscus flowers and is 100% natural.

Will Irving, owner of Ibis Organics, said: “Hibiscus has been traditionally drunk as a tea for centuries and so following the success of our Simply Hibi juice, we decided to make the most of the crops that we grow in Uganda by launching a Whole Flower Hibiscus Tea.

“It is a great addition to our product line and we are confident that it will be as successful as the juice. With the same great taste, the tea provides a great new way to enjoy the unique taste of Simply Hibi.”

The company’s Hibi juice is available to buy nationally in Waitrose and at selected Sainsbury’s and Holland & Barrett. It is launching the Simply Hibi Whole Flower Hibiscus Tea range online at www.simplyhibi.co.uk. A 125g tin costs £4.00. A refill is also available priced at £2.00.
