Luxury car brand Infiniti’s Northern launch

LUXURY car brand Inifiti has launched its first dealership in the North West.
The facility in Stockport is only Infiniti’s fifth in this country, although its sixth, will open in Leeds later this month.
The brand, part of Nissan, has invested a significant amount on the opening of the two-acre site near M60 interchange. Among the models on sale is the M35h, world’s fastest hybrid saloon.
The opening, even in challenging times for consumer spending, is part of a major roll-out of the Infiniti brand. One new Infiniti centre will open on average every two months for the next six years.
The Japanese company’s aim is to grab one sale in 10 of the luxury car market.
The catchment area for the Stockport centre includes Altrincham, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Buxton,Knutsford and Worsley.
Centre manager Richard Braithwaite said: ““The Centre is in a fantastic location at the heart of a strong Infiniti demographic
audience. We have already sold our first car – to an ardent Lexus driver.”
The Centre is operated by Infiniti retail partner Mana Premiere Automobiles which also runs Infiniti Centres Birmingham and Glasgow and will also open the Infiniti Centre Leeds. MPA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Saleh Alhamad Al Mana Co of Qatar.
