Beyond The Box wins Sennheiser training deal

CHEADLE-based Beyond The Box has been commissioned by audio equipment company Sennheiser for a major retail training programme.
The training aims to add value to its consumer headphone product in time for the Christmas trading period and forms part of Sennheiser’s national training initiative to support its retailers’ in-store sales conversions and increase its share of the consumer headphone market.
The Beyond The Box retail training team will be ‘Sennheiser Brand Ambassadors’, visiting Sennheiser retailers over the next few months with full demonstrations of its headphones.
Sue Davies, business development director at Beyond The Box, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Sennheiser and supporting such a quality and innovative brand. We believe that providing specialised product knowledge to retailers has a positive effect on sales, as well as brand value.
“By increasing knowledge amongst stockists, Sennheiser’s customers will benefit from a better shopping and brand experience. We have found in the past that, when sales representatives know more about a manufacturer’s offering, the customer receives a better service and is able to walk away with the right product for their personal needs.”
Linda Irvin, product manager, consumer channel for Sennheiser, said: “Bringing Beyond The Box on board to further train and build on our retailers’ knowledge, means that our customers can now also feel assured that they will receive the best in sound quality, purchasing experience and advice to walk away with exactly what they are looking for.”
