Energetix ops director retires

ENERGY-saving products firm Energetix has announced the retirement of group operations director Neil Bright.

Mr Bright, aged 64, had focussed on setting in place the correct operational structures to ensure that the company’s clean energy products are brought to full development and that the business is in good shape to exploit the commercial opportunities for these products, the company said in a statement to the stock market.

Adrian Hutchings, chief executive of Chester-based Energetix, said: “We are very grateful for Neil’s contribution to Energetix, as he has ensured that we have the best operational structures in place to execute our commercial strategy and realise the huge potential of our products. We wish him the very best for the future.”
In May, Energetix announced the appointment of Clare Spottiswoode as non-executive chairman, and earlier this month the appointment of Tony Stiff as commercial director.
It said that the recent board changes reflect the company’s transition from a development company into a business pursuing a commercialisation strategy for its products.
