SKV has Plumbs covered

NORTH West curtains and re-upholstery specialist Plumbs has hired Manchester PR agency SKV Communications to raise is profile during its 50th year.

Lancashire-based Plumbs began as a market stall and is now the UK’s biggest supplier of loose covers – producing over 1,000 made to measure orders every week.

The family run firm, which employs over 300 skilled craftsmen and women at its Preston base, has appointed SKV to raise its national profile.

Chris Plumb said: “Historically, we have focused on press advertising, however, our golden anniversary year offers many opportunities and we wanted to maximise these by appointing a PR agency.

“SKV impressed us with their creative ideas, their understanding of our products and the overall market and their commitment to delivering tangible results.”

The SKV team will be led by account director Anoushka Done.
