MANCHESTER-based Smoking Gun PR has netted a new client in the sports sector after scoring with the Blackburn-based Football Safety Officers Rick Guttridge, Smoking Gun PR Association.

Based at Blackburn Rovers’ Ewood Park ground, FSOA is made up of safety officers from professional and semi professional football clubs in England and Wales.

Rick Guttridge, Smoking Gun’s MD said: “The FSOA has an interesting story to tell and there is an image issue to overcome as health and safety officers are often maligned as ‘no’ men.
