Pro.manchester goes creative

PROFESSIONAL services group pro.manchester is widening its net further with then launch of a new group for creative industries.

Called Creative pro∙manchester, the group aims to link the city’s financial and professional sector with the growing digital, creative and media sector.

John Ashcroft, chief executive of  pro∙manchester, said: “Our objectives are to raise awareness, understanding and boost business links between the two sectors.

“Manchester talent excels in both sectors and we’re happy to take a lead in helping them connect.”

Founding committee members include Kirsty Shenton  of law firm DWF, Peter Davies of PR firm RMS, Lauren Liles of Montpelier Chartered Accountants, David Hunt of Creative Lynx and Steve Kuncewicz, and IP lawyer at Halliwells.

To mark the launch of the new group, Creative Pro Manchester is running an event next week with hi-tech start up venue Innospace and Peter Rush – The Pitch Doctor.
